Privacy Policy
Last updated 11 August 2026
This policy covers the backyard home and ADU pages at leafstonearchitecture.com/adu/, including the Backyard Home Feasibility Assessment form. Leafstone Architecture and Soloway & Sons LLC operate these pages together, and both use what you send us to evaluate your project.
What we collect
Everything on this page comes from you. We do not buy contact lists and we do not track you across other websites.
Information you give us
- Your name, email address, phone number, and preferred contact method
- The property address, city, ZIP code, and township
- Property details: type, septic or sewer, well or municipal water
- Project details: who the home is for, bedrooms, size, accessibility needs, timeline, budget range, and whether you need financing
- Anything you type into the notes field
- Any photos, surveys, or site plans you choose to attach
Information collected automatically
- Your IP address and the date and time of your submission, recorded with the form entry to help us catch spam and abuse
- Standard web server logs kept by our hosting provider
This page sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. If analytics are enabled in the future, this policy will be updated before that happens.
Why we use it
- To carry out the preliminary property review you asked for
- To contact you about that review and your project, by the method you selected
- To prepare a design direction, budget range, and permitting path if you decide to move forward
- To keep a record of the enquiry and protect the form from automated abuse
We do not use your information for unrelated marketing, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
Who else sees it
Your information is shared only with the people and services needed to answer you:
- Staff at Leafstone Architecture and Soloway & Sons working on your project
- Our email delivery provider, Brevo (Sendinblue), which transmits the notification message
- Our customer relationship system, GoHighLevel, where your contact record and project details are stored
- Our web hosting provider, Hostinger, which stores the submission and any attachments on its servers
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or when we need to establish or defend a legal claim. Beyond that, no third party receives it.
If your project moves into design or construction, we may need to share property details with a township or municipal office, a county health department, a surveyor, or an engineer. We will tell you before that happens.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. Records tied to an active or completed project are kept for as long as our professional, contractual, and tax obligations require. Uploaded files are stored outside the public web directory and are not reachable by anyone browsing the site.
How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions travel encrypted, uploaded files are stored in a non-public directory with restricted permissions, and access credentials are kept outside the web root. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send financial account numbers, government ID numbers, or other highly sensitive material through this form.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
- Ask us to delete your enquiry and any attachments
- Withdraw your consent to be contacted at any time
- Tell us to stop calling or texting, by replying STOP to a text or saying so on a call
Email info@leafstonearchitecture.com and we will respond within 30 days. Michigan does not currently give residents a statutory right of access or deletion, but we honour these requests regardless of where you live.
Messaging and calls
Checking the consent box on the assessment form means you agree to be contacted about your property review by phone, text message, or email. That consent covers this project only, and it is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out.
Children
This page is meant for property owners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted the form, email us and we will delete the record.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will appear here with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting how we use information already collected will be communicated directly to anyone concerned.
